Goodwill Capital Campaign

BUILDING HOPE, IT'S EVERYONE'S JOB

Goodwill’s mission changes lives and strengthens communities through education, training and work. We have been in that business in Southeastern NE & Southwest IA for 75 years. In 2008, Goodwill Industries served a total of 2,420 participants with 291 finding employment at an average wage of $8.26 an hour. Those are powerful numbers, but we haven’t begun to skim the surface.

Goodwill Industries embarked on a capital campaign in ’08 to relocate our Pacific Street retail and administration building. To date we have raised 2.2 million dollars. The demand for our services has grown to the point that we need more space to adequately serve our participants. The “Building Hope… It’s Everyone’s Job” campaign will be a major fundraising focus for '10 as well. For more information on how to participate, contact lsutton@goodwillomaha.org.

Goodwill has touched many lives in the community and helped them become proud, successful citizens. Without our donors, none of this would be possible.
