CREATE A LASTING GIFT TO GOODWILL

Goodwill Industries began celebrating its 75th year of service in the community during the fall of 2008 and also embarked on a capital campaign initiative. Goodwill Industries plans to relocate the administration and retail facility on Pacific Street to an accessible commercial area. To date we have raised more than $2.2 million.

What will happen to Goodwill’s programs in the next 75 years? To ensure our programs will continue in perpetuity, you can create a lasting gift to Goodwill. The following are examples of planned giving opportunities.

Bequest

Designate a percentage of your estate or a dollar amount to Goodwill Industries serving Eastern NE & Southwest IA.

Charitable Gift Annuity

Designate the transfer of cash, securities or other assets to Goodwill Industries & receive guaranteed fixed income for life.

Charitable Trust

Designate the transfer of assets to a trust which pays income to you for a predetermined amount of time. The principal then passes to Goodwill Industries when the amount of time is concluded.
