Projects With Industry

Projects with Industry was a Goodwill program offering career readiness and training programs. It also provided job placement, job retention, and career advancement services for individuals with disabilities.

The program assisted youth ages 17 to 21 in transition from or recently graduated high school, as well as adult job-seekers referred by Vocational Rehabilitation agencies in Nebraska and Iowa and other service providers.

PARTNER WITH GOODWILL

Partnering with area businesses and rehabilitation agencies was key in the success of this effort.

Goodwill's Projects With Industry Program offered a valuable service to individuals and the business community. People with disabilities benefitted by having support and assistance in preparing for and maintaining employment. Businesses experienced a positive return by hiring qualified individuals and having access to a knowledgeable community resource.
