After a four year absence in the Bellevue community, Goodwill recently completed construction on a new facility at 25th & Capehart, just west of Offutt Air Force Base. “Secondhand stores now look first-class” A headline pulled from the Omaha World Herald describes the philosophy Goodwill has taken when constructing its new retail/donation/training facilities. “The look of our stores are much more like another retailer than a thrift store,” said Dave Berringer, vice president of member relations for Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Maryland

This new stand-alone store has wide aisles, bright lighting and modern décor. Signs are in English and Spanish, and five televisions along the walls play a DVD explaining Goodwill’s mission and programs. The facility also has a dual-lane covered drop-off area for donations and a classroom for job training. The Bellevue Goodwill employs 20+ people who work in the retail, donation and training areas and are ready to serve you and the community!
